For genuine Belgian conviviality, as well as good food, café t’ Botteltje is the place to be. They brew their own beer, but if you would like to try something different, you can choose from no less than 300 special beers. The dishes that they serve here won’t let you forget you’re in a beer café in Ostend either, as both beer and fish are well represented.

Sharing is caring, and at Gastrobar Frenchette, you immediately notice that this is true. On weekdays, you can choose between a 3-course set menu that you can keep for yourself, or a 7-course menu that you share with your dining companions. On weekends, there is only the sharing menu – perfect for those who like to sample all those gorgeous dishes. It sounds like Spanish tapas, but it’s world cuisine.

Since 1973, this has been a perla italiana in Ostend. A place that, much like Italian wine, gets better with age. In 2020, Marina was included in the Gault&Millau for the first time and hasn’t disappeared from it since. Refined Italian cuisine in a stylish interior, with a dress code: city clothes.
